In the fall of 2008 the College of Business moved into the business school's state- of- the-art James A. Haslam Business Building. Aerospace and Defense MBA classes began in this facility  January 2009. The state-of-the-art complex  offers a comfortable learning environment with tiered classrooms and multi-media technology. The building is equipped for high-definition global teleconferencing as well as digital signage, wireless Internet access, and an advanced room-access security and information system. The facilities have been designed to promote program interaction in an environment conducive to an intense learning experience. During residence periods in Knoxville, all students stay at the nearby Four Points Sheraton Cumberland House hotel. Transportation is provided from the hotel to all program activities. However, the hotel is only a short walk from the Haslam Business Building, leading many students to make the short walk a regular part of their day.

Aerospace and Defence  MBA students are classified as full-time students and are eligible to take advantage of the many cultural and recreational facilities offered by the University of Tennessee.

Neyland Stadium is home of the Tennessee Volunteers.
