The 2010 program fee for the Aerospace and Defense MBA Program is $52,000. Three equal payments are due, each prior to the start of a semester, or sponsors may elect to pay for the entire program in advance of the first semester. Admitted applicants must indicate their intent to attend by a letter of commitment and submit a non-refundable deposit of $1,000, which will be applied to the first semester’s program fee. The program fee beyond 2010 is subject to change. Program fees must be received by the College of Business Administration no later than the dates specified below:
The Aerospace and Defense MBA program at the University of Tennessee is committed to providing information needed to obtain financial resources for all qualified students.
- Non-refundable deposit – 30 days after admission: $1,000
- First Semester – December 15: $17,000
- Second Semester – April 15: $17,000
- Third Semester – August 15: $17,000
The program fee includes all university tuition, books and materials, and the majority of meals during the residence periods. The program fee does not include the following:
- Laptop computer: All students are required to bring and utilize a laptop computer for each residence period. If needed, students may arrange to purchase a laptop computer through the University computer store (http://utbookstore.tennessee.edu/uccs/index.html). Students doing so should begin purchase actions in time to ensure the desired computer is available and in stock for the start of the program. On the first day of the program, all students will be required to configure their laptops consistent with official University Office of Information Technology (OIT) standards in order to gain the required access to the University network. This will include loading the laptops with approved antivirus and security software.
- Travel to and from the domestic residence periods
- Travel to and from the international residence period
- Lodging during residence periods
- Corporate Sponsorship: Many applicants’ companies provide full or partial financial support. Interested applicants should contact their employer as the first source of funding for educational expenses.
- Student Loans: The University of Tennessee participates in a number of federal financial aid programs. Information about student loans and other loan programs is available at the University of Tennessee financial aid website or www.FAFSA.com.
