Campus and Virtual Classrooms: Through an innovative mix of instructional delivery methods, professionals living or working anywhere in the world can earn a degree without interrupting their careers or disrupting managing programs at work.

Integrated Curriculum: The Aerospace and Defense MBA integrates all business disciplines, addressing real-world problems from multiple perspectives in a holistic, competency-oriented curriculum. This program design keeps the focus on the student’s real-world business challenges, delivering knowledge and skills on how to address them.

Applied Learning: Assignments are tied directly to the participant’s organization and industry. Most assignments are designed to evaluate and execute strategic initiatives to move the sponsoring organization forward. This provides the student and the sponsoring organization an immediate return on investment.

Personalized Leadership Development:
The Aerospace and Defense MBA prepares every student for a lifetime of leadership and professional excellence. Executive coaching sessions hone leadership styles and presentation abilities, enabling rising leaders to maintain a fit and balanced life. Personal leadership development advisors remain available for support and counsel for at least one year after graduation.

World-Class Faculty: The University of Tennessee faculty is highly respected for its cutting-edge instruction and research. Faculty members bring both academic learning and real-world business knowledge to strategic business issues of the sponsoring organization with complete confidentiality. Most of our faculty members have significant, professional experience in the aerospace and defense industry, and all have experience teaching and advising students and sponsors across the industry. Faculty members routinely sign proprietary non-disclosure agreements to enable open communication and teamwork on strategic business issues.

Small Classes, Personal Attention: Small classes allow faculty to work closely with students one-on-one and to help them in achieving their goals.

Networking: The Aerospace and Defense MBA program provides participants access to other successful aerospace professionals, all hand-picked by their sponsoring organization to participate in this one-of-a-kind program. Learning and growing with peers and in teams, students build relationships that will benefit them and their sponsor throughout the program and their careers.
