All students in the Aerospace and Defense MBA program must be sponsored by their employers, who agree to the students attendance, authorize time away from work, and provide support on applied-
research projects. In particular, it is critical that sponsors agree to and respect the crucial “immersion concept” of the program, allowing students to focus on their education during their time away from the job while they attend residence periods.
Given the immediate gains of the year’s projects and the long-term value of the knowledge and leadership skills acquired, many organizations provide full financial support. However, some organizations may require that participants share some of the financial cost. Such financial sharing arrangements should be worked out in advance and must be stated clearly in the program application.
