Innovative and Integrated Curriculum

Your MBA degree from the University of Tennessee will take just 16 months of your time, thanks to our innovative and intense Professional MBA curriculum.

The program kicks off with a week-long residence period at the beginning of the academic term in August. After "Kickoff Week," you'll meet primarily on Saturdays and Tuesdays—with on-campus classes on Saturdays and distance-learning sessions on Tuesday evenings (see our program calendar for specific dates). You'll have a mini-residence period halfway through the course, and another week-long residence at the end. Plus, you have the option of joining the group for a weeklong global immersion trip.

The Professional MBA program has a lockstep format, so you and your classmates will take the same courses at the same pace. Rather than offering electives, we use a holistic approach that integrates different disciplines into a single course of study.
